Executive summary

A privacy-focused QR code product for vehicles, helping people contact a vehicle owner without exposing the owner's personal phone number.

Context

Drivers often need to be contacted when a vehicle is blocking access, parked in a risky spot, or involved in an urgent situation, but sharing a personal number publicly creates privacy and safety concerns.

Decision

Use a mobile-web architecture with React Native, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS so vehicle QR profiles could be easy to access, privacy-aware, and reliable.

Outcome

Created a communication layer that lets people reach vehicle owners through a QR code while keeping direct personal contact information private.

What I learned

The durable part of a portfolio project is not just the framework choice. It is the product workflow, ownership model, and delivery path that make the interface useful in production.
